Classes begin Tuesday, August 25, 2026

• Elementary School 8:00 a.m. - 2:55 p.m.
• Junior High & High School 8:00 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.

In-person registration assistance will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, between 10 am and 7 pm. This is not required if you completed the online registration successfully.

FROM THE NURSE: The Department of Health requires all immunizations to be up-to-date.  If immunizations are not current, an “in progress” card from the physician, along with updated immunization records or an exemption form, must be submitted prior to August 25. Per Missouri state law, if your child is not up to date on immunizations, they are not permitted to attend school.  The State of Missouri requires all Seniors and 8th-grade students to receive the meningococcal vaccine, and all 8th-grade students to receive the Tdap vaccine. If your child has already received either vaccination, please submit documentation to Fatima at Open House, or prior to August 25. If your child has not received either vaccination, or if you are unsure of your child’s immunization status, please contact Fatima at 573-455-2375 ext. 1015
Any prescription medications your child may need to take at school cannot be brought by students. Prescription bottles must be dropped off by an adult, and the Medication Authorization Form must be completed. 

OPEN HOUSE:  Open House for Elementary, Junior High, and High School students will be on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 4 pm-7 pm. Fatima will be open to all students and families – Chromebooks will be issued to 7th-12th grade students at Open House to those who have paid the $20 insurance fee that night or through our new online payments system (coming soon). The Chromebook Agreement and District Technology Agreement are available in online registration, and insurance must be paid to receive a Chromebook.

FRESHMAN ORIENTATION: Freshman Orientation will be on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM. All incoming freshmen are strongly encouraged to attend. Freshmen can pick up their Chromebooks at this time.  

SCHOOL BREAKFAST / LUNCH PROGRAM:  Applications for free/reduced school meals will be available at Open House. If your child qualifies for F/R meals, please note that you are responsible for all charges incurred before your application is approved. It is strongly recommended that applications for F/R Meals be returned to school PRIOR to August 25, 2026. 

ACTIVITY FEE and PHYSICALS:  Students will be assessed a $25 PER ACTIVITY fee to participate in clubs/sports ($125 family cap). All students participating in a school-sponsored BAND or SPORTS ACTIVITY must have an active Privit account and complete a physical prior to the start of practice. Physical forms can be obtained in the EL office. All students participating in a school activity must be in the drug testing pool; otherwise, they are ineligible to participate. The consent form for drug testing will be available at the Open House. Fatima requires a sports physical annually.
