Certified Positions
Behavior Interventionist
Osage County R-III School District is seeking applicants for the position of Behavior Interventionist for the 2025-26 School Year.
A Behavior Interventionist (B.I.) works to help eliminate or minimize disruptive and negative behaviors by replacing them with positive behaviors and actions. The Behavior Interventionist will work with all types of students, who have been identified by a team of staff members, to create individual interventions that help with identified areas of concern. The Behavior Interventionist will work alongside staff members to provide and implement certain tools and strategies that will help students to be successful inside the classroom. The ultimate goal for the Behavior Interventionist is to build skills and relationships with the students to help them be successful inside and outside school walls.
Osage County R-III is a Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certified school district. The Behavior Interventionist is responsible for maintaining certification and training those individuals that may need the education of CPI throughout their school day. CPI is designed to train individuals with the skills to prevent and respond to crisis situations. The goal of CPI training is to minimize the risk of harm to individuals in a crisis, focusing on non-violent strategies and techniques for de-escalation.
Responsibility
- Work with staff and students on behaviors that help lead to success inside and out of the classroom.
- Take data, analyze behaviors and create behavior intervention plans.
- Work with staff and students on interventions for success.
- Facilitates communication between the school and families to ensure consistency in behavior support.
- Hold lessons and classroom learning scenarios for behaviors specific to individual students.

Part-Time Parents as Teachers

Full-Time and Part-Time Custodian
Full-time hours: 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. when school is in session and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during summer break. Part-time hours: 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Substitute Teacher
Fatima is searching for more substitute teachers and willing to work with schedules to be flexible based on substitute teacher’s availability as well as requests if and when necessary. Substitute teachers work directly with building principals to know their assignment. Part-Time Driver
This position will transport students to and from Osage County R-III School. This position will consist of two (2) hours in the morning, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and two (2) hours in the afternoon, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. when school is in session. This position will drive a van and requires a valid Class F Missouri Driver’s License.
